Design Philosophy

A key element in Anastasia Lomonova’s design philosophy is the age-old notion that true beauty lies within. When a woman feels comfortable in what she is wearing, she radiates a feeling a confidence that is hard to ignore.

When selecting fabric for the collection, the utmost attention is paid to how it feels against the skin – only the softest, most indulgent materials are chosen. The fit of every style is studied extensively to highlight the body and allow freedom of movement. Regardless of the occasion, every piece in the collection is created to make a woman.

The look, the epitome of femininity and chic, is often provocative yet never ostentatious. It is a look of timeless elegance that is understated, yet leaves an unforgettable impression. A fine-tuned balance of design elements – clean lines, soft curves, draping, pleating as well as impeccable fit and attention to detail create a flawless image of luxury and effortless style.

Designer Bio

Initially trained as a visual artist, Anastasia became involved in fashion at the age of 18, upon entering Ryerson University’s prestigious fashion program. After completing 2 years of the course, the young designer relocated to the beautiful city of Montreal, famous for its European allure and style. Here, she apprenticed with several established designers before creating her own line at the age of 22.

Born to Russian parents in Odessa (Ukraine), Anastasia spent many years living on the island of Cyprus. Sharing her time between the Mediterranean coast and historical streets of Europe resulted in a vast source of inspiration, applied to all her designs. “Anastasia Lomonova” is the ideal balance of sexy and elegant. While maintaining simplicity in all its lines and shapes, the collection is effortlessly luxurious - complimented by impeccable quality.
